Located in Normandy, in the Orne department, the Pavillon de Gouffern is an 18th-century half-timbered hunting lodge set in 80 hectares of parkland. It now welcomes groups (associations, companies or families) to organise their receptions and seminars.

 

On this family estate, nestled in the heart of unspoilt, unspoilt countryside, you can enjoy the forest, the paths, the clearing and the fishing pond.

Animals roam freely here - deer in particular, which can be seen from the bedrooms (all overlooking the park) or from the large glass windows.

 

Tastefully decorated, the interior is inspired by the atmosphere of old English manor houses, with wood and leather taking pride of place, giving the place a timeless, warm and refined charm.

 

Our 16 rooms, each individually decorated, reveal a natural charm combining wood, leather and marble. Cosy lounge, classic or contemporary paintings, thick curtains with soft movement, silky quilt, walk-in shower or antique bath... All offer uninterrupted views of the forest and park.

 

At night, silence reigns supreme. With the window open, only the whisper of the forest will lull you to sleep. No city noise is perceptible. The celestial vault, free from all light pollution, will allow you to contemplate the stars and, why not, envisage a walk in the moonlight?

 

A place to relax and unwind, take a stroll in the park or forest, on foot, by bike or in a horse-drawn carriage (booking required)... Stroll along the pond, jog along the dirt paths, relax on the massage table, take a dip in the heated outdoor swimming pool, try out the equipment in the fitness room, try your hand at golf... the choice of activities on offer is vast...
